HELLO THERE!
I'm Alexis Brabeau, a graphic designer and fine artist based in Metro Detroit.
Recently, I completed my BFA at Grand Valley State University. There, I pursued a degree in Studio Fine Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design, graduating in December 2024.
While Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are my primary programs of choice, I am also proficient with programs such as InDesign, Lightroom, Figma, and Microsoft Office. I work primarily with print and package design, but I have experience in digital interface design as well. Some additional skills of mine include both digital & analog film photography, analog film development, and darkroom print development. An array of other fine art mediums, including relief printmaking, acrylic & watercolor paints, colored pencils, and textiles can all be found throughout my work.
When not creating, I can be found flipping through vinyl records at my local record store, thrift shopping, or taking care of my houseplants.
